Milestone 3 Focus Paper─ Integration:
In this Assignment, you are integrating the work flow, the power to make decisions, and communication for the benefit of cross-team integration (from low to high integration), into your design.
Building on your prior work for your selected organization, write a 3–5 page paper (excluding title and reference pages) demonstrating that “You have tied the pieces together and defined power relationships” (Milestone #3) in your organization design. Include the following:
Transition from the Unit 2 Focus Paper by using a 1–2 paragraph summary of your recommendations for the best grouping option as your Introduction for this paper.
Identification of the operating model (integrated, divisional, hybrid, or holding company) for your selected organization.
Application of the four governance levers (beliefs, diagnostics, networks, and boundaries) to channel resources to achieve the business strategy.
Analysis of the decision rights among key roles.
Recommendations for function support work around value-adding roles and how these recommendations will help the organization to be center-led versus centralized.
Conclusion should briefly summarize the primary points of the paper and bring forward a call to action.
The Assignment will be evaluated using the Focus Paper Rubric located in the course Syllabus. Therefore, please ensure it is written with proper grammar, in APA format and citation style (including clear section headings), and includes at least three cited and referenced resources—one of which must be a peer reviewed (scholarly) journal article.
